7 Fiction Podcasts to get Creative Juices Flowing

Filed under: All Posts, Freebies, Inspiration on October 16, 2009 by Eric | 5 Comments »

One of the, I think to be, unconventional sources I tend to get inspiration from is works of fiction. I have a day job, a 6 month old son and my part-time freelancing so I have to get my story fix in where I can. That’s where podcasts and my 45 minute commute come in. There are some outstanding stories and whole novels being given away for free through podcasting and I have yet to find one who’s episodes run longer than an hour so they’re perfect for those of us that have long commutes or anyone who is just so busy that it’s hard to find the time to pick up a book. Here are 7 of my favorite podcast authors, novels and audio fiction magazines.

All the authors and podcasters ask in return for their stories is that you spread the word so don’t forget to help promote your favorite podcasters and podcasts by listing them and voting for them at Podrocket.net.

If my suggestions aren’t quite your style please check out Podiobooks.com, PodcastAlley.com or the I-tunes Store for more options, any genre you can think of is available.
